With the increased demand for Indian cuisine, our client had to ensure not only the location for his restaurant was ideal but the investment in branding was selective. In doing this, they enlisted the design and marketing team from Electra Sign to take their logo to the next level. Enter the Copper Chimney at 1070 St. Mary’s Rd, in Winnipeg, MB. This fully licensed establishment offers the finest in East Indian dining.

The owner visited our office shortly after the pylon sign was installed and mentioned his business increased substantially based on this alone. Shortly after, their custom illuminated cabinet with push-thru lettering was up, further buzz was created. With the perfect location, staff personality and an owner operated establishment, The Copper Chimney welcomes everyone to enjoy the food from this incredible culture.

Importance of Product Knowledge in Customer Service

Along with  Sam Nimchonok (pictured above) the entire Electra and Prairie Sales staff are certified EMC specialists trained at the Watchfire factory in Danville Illinois.

Oftentimes simply presenting brochures to prospective clients will do little to build relationships and close sales. Salespeople need to have a proper understanding of their product, because written words and spoken words are very different. The best way to gain product knowledge is by taking a hands-on approach. Whether it’s a vacuum, a new car or an electronic sign it is crucial to use and test your product extensively and assess it’s features and capabilities yourself before attempting to sell it. With a superior level of experience, you will be able to explain why your product is superior.

A sales pitch should not just cover the black-and-white benefits and advantages of your product, your clients are likely more interested in how your product can meet their own existing requirements. Being overly technical in explaining your product is inadvisable as well. Whenever possible your product should be presented in a way that is self-explanatory.

In closing, great salespeople should not only depend on company training for product knowledge but also express an invested interest in learning about their product themselves.

Is your cup half full or completely AMAZING! That’s the first thought you might have when you enter Ile Des Chenes and drop in to see the folks at CAPO DI GRANDE. When we met with the owners, they wanted to make sure that their customers would not only see their new location, but understand it isn’t your regular coffee house either. So they requested a design be created from their licensed beverage cup coming out of the building in 3D.

With the owners Richard and Paula Ewen at the helm of the idea, we worked together to create the perfect cup of…well, you get it. Their son Chris blends the perfect comfort of a coffee house with a mature taste in wines, foods, music and more. Complemented by their knowledgeable and friendly staff, it’s time to relax and take in the atmosphere that promises to impress.
